2008 Volvos - Consumer Report's 2008 Car Reliability Study - December 2008
Volvo Gets High Scores in Latest Reliability Study.
Consumer Reports released the results of its 2008 Car Reliability Survey and Volvo was the best-performing European luxury brand!
The survey is comprised of Consumer Reports subscribers' experiences with 1.4 million vehicles. Respondents reported any serious problems they had with their vehicles in 17 trouble spots during the previous 12 months, which allows Consumer Reports to provide predicted-reliability ratings for new cars.
The Volvo C30 made the list of most reliable cars in the sporty cars, coupes and convertibles category. Volvo was recognized for continuing its upward march in the rankings. According to the report, of the nine Volvos for which Consumer Reports had sufficient data, only the XC70 rated below average in reliability.
In addition, this year Volvo has four models that earned a place on Consumer Reports Recommended List: C30, C70, S80 and XC90. (Note: The full article is only available for Consumer Reports subscribers). |
